News - may 2010 Offshore Project Bard
On Saturday afternoon on the 1st May Hydrospex got a call from a salvage contractor. “Our client is in serious trouble as the installation of their offshore platform was at risk and in order to safeguard the platform a team of experts from Hydrospex was asked to be sent to site for potential help”.
The same evening 4 engineers were sent to site and inspected the work. Sunday it was concluded how the platform would be kept in safe condition and Tuesday morning, the 4th May, the client was meeting at Hydrospex offices and was presented with the engineered solution to lift the platform.
10 days later 16 strand jacks and 120 tons of fabricated structures and a team of experts were shipped to site and another 12 days later the platform was lifted in its required elevation.
Client was impressed and extremely satisfied. Again Hydrospex demonstrated “nothing is impossible” as long as you understand what you are doing.
